I'm not sure if anyone here remembers me, but I'm in AIT now, and have a five hour pass so I figured I'd check in. Not quite as fun as basic, but I just started, we'll see how it works out. Well I gotta go I'll might get another pass next weekend if I pass My diagnostic PT.

Take care good luck. And what's this 'if' stuff? You WILL pass your PT test, go out there and run your 2 miles...right now!

Good luck, IIRC you enlisted on an airborne contract?

Whats this 5 hour pass thing?

Hello ~

Where's this you've gone to?

Well, to start off I had a pass when I first started AIT cause my training didn't start till the following week. Now that I have started training I'll usually have weekend passes as long as my platoon doesnt mess up. Sadly I didn't get the required 60 percent in pushups, I only did 40 push ups and I needed 42, but I did good in the sit ups and the 2 mile. I'll have another chance to make it up on saturday and if I pass it then I'll get over night passes on the weekends. For that other question about training after AIT, I'll either go to airborne school in fort benning if my contract holds up or I'll go to my duty station in fort sill, and when I get deployed I'll go in for more training for either two weeks if my unit is already gone or a few months if there is time.
