Despite the fact I had a hand in much of RTR's graphics. I have to say I have become much better over the year sine it was first released. So what I have decided to do is reskin some of the units that I found most atrocious to the eyes. This post will be updated with new material whenever it becomes available. Also feel free to suggest units from RTR that could use some touch ups. However please do not ask me make skins for units that are not part of RTR. And as always with all my work these skins and models are free for anyone to use in their mods so long as proper credit is given to Warspite (God of Illustrator and Photoshop) and myself.

Oh wow, these are really incredible. Yikes, I can hardly believe my eyes. Stupid question, I know, but in screenshot to the left, what are the two units for each faction? Is one a general, one a captain?

Correct. The one on the left is the general and the one on the right is captain but can really be any officer.

Excellent, excellent. I think I'll be using these for pretty much any mod I play henceforth, barring an unusually good unit of their own or some other personal attachment.

Practice practice practice. Its been about 1 year and 3 months since the first time I ever used photoshop and 3dsmax. Pretty much at least an hour a day of that year and a bit was spent playing with photoshop. I didn't use tutorials or anything like that. They can help but nothing is a substitute for practice.

Also it should be noted. Anyone that downloaded the Spartans. I have updated the downloads with fixes to the model which included a seam and a mapping error on the cloak. I suggest re-downloading the files.

Beautiful work, as usual, Caius, thank you.

Are you still on good terms with the current RTR team? ie will they be including this work in future versions of RTR and RTR Platinum? (I ask because I tend to lose track of mod add-ons.)

We are running an RTR PBM (called the Will of the Senate) over in the Throne Room. Would we be able to download these reskins and continue with an existing campaign? Or are there any potential savegame compatability problems? (Sorry for the clueless question - I'm not a modder.)

These are only an aesthetical change so they are 100% save game compatible.

Just a head up, in the models_unit folder, the file caius_new_sparten_lowest.cas should be caius_new_spartan_lowest.cas and is causing errors.
