Okay, got round to finally getting the Alexander expansion pack the other day, love it but can't stand the map so im making my own. During the course of doing this i have noticed that the sea colour in the map_heights file is no longer a solid colour, and apears to be broken up into different colours to repesent differet sea depths. ust have a look for yourselfs at the standard Alexander map_heights:

Interesting, can you see any effect from that viewing the campaign map in game? Also has that done away with the different sea types in map_ground_types?

Yes they've got rid of the different sea types in map_ground_types, the different colours on the map_heights now seem to determine the different sea types. I have not noticed anytihng yet in the campaign, though i haven't really been looking.

Does it need a new HGT convertor Lusted?

Also, are there any changes related to mapping?

Thats what im trying to find out now, as im trying to do a new map for it and have had no luck so far. Im going to try the HGT convertor done by Alpaca and see if that will help.

Lionskin is helping me have a look at where i might be going wrong with the map as he has Alexander as well. Ill post back here once i know more.
