Where did he go it seems kind weird that he hasn't visited the forum in a month or so. You would figure the Adm. would come check on the forum more often. I just found this kinda weird so I posted it.:help:

KukriKhan is a bit busy for the time being.

The mods can handle it while he's gone I guess ~;)

Yeah its no big deal but I just found that strange.

Kukri's absence is definitely heavily noticed as a member above his superior administrator abilities, however families stick together even harder during such absences, don't they? ~:grouphug:

He'll hopefully be back soon... :nice:

Well, it now appears he's decided to quit the staff altogether. Which is quite concerning, given how much he cares about this board and its staff in particular. Bit surprised that no one from the staff has yet decided to announce/explain this though.

Personally I don't like how people, in general, jump to conclusions.

Could someone explain this a bit clearly? Apparently there are rumours being created by the lack of clear information here. We don't need details, just a status update would be helpful. That said, I do understand that there are situations which require delicacy.

Reminds me of the Org's response to the lack of info on M2TW's AI till that podcast last week.

No ,I stand corrected.

My apologies.

I did however say,"in general", and with that in mind, I support my post, though not directed at your post anymore.

It would still be nice to know what's going on with Kukri, even if it was just a short little "Hey everyone he's fine; he's just been busy these last few months." To echo Kagemusha, I confess I'm a little worried as to whether he's doing all right. (I did notice a couple days ago that he'd removed himself as forum admin, but I chose not to say anything as I didn't wish to cause a panic/uproar.)

On a semi-related topic, has Ser Clegane taken over the sole reigns of the Org then? Or is there still some more shuffling going on that's yet to be announced?

Nice to heard all is all right. I've actually thought before that being admin might be too pressing in time for KukriKhan. (Not sure if that is the reason, though) However, as long as he stays around here and there it's ok ~:) :2thumbsup:

On a semi-related topic, I see Tosa has returned as forum admin. (Welcome back, by the way--not that you really left. ~) Is he back long-term, or is he just taking the reigns temporarily until a more permanent replacement is found?

Hello everyone.

I deeply appreciate your concern, and apologize for causing worry. My absence is a rather long, boring story - here's the short version: in late June, I was taken to court on some ridiculous charges, which would require all my free-time to combat, for an unknown length of time... but probably months-long. So I cut back on other commitments, including my time for duties here.

The nature of the case also dictated that I rather abruptly cease contact with people via computer, to avoid dragging them in; so I stopped visiting everywhere, and only responded to a few emails.

A few days ago, that case was finally dismissed. So I gratefully rejoin you folks here, now.

My sincere thanks go out to all - and especially to the staff here who jealously guarded my privacy; no easy task with the naturally-inquiring minds of Org members.

It's good to be back.

p.s. Looks like I have an exploding PM inbox. I'll answer all, but it may take a few days. Thanks for your patience.

Time to start some mindless speculation. Taken to court on ridiculous charges, computer time reduced. Sued by the RIAA? :inquisitive:

Kukri! :balloon2:

You've been found to be in (il)legal possession of a fearsome moustache again, haven't you? Tut, tut, when will you learn? It might seem like harmless fun, scaring small children and those of a gentle disposition, but think of the trauma and life-long issues you are causing, authorised to possess one or not. Shave it off! :winkg:

KukriKhan
09-13-2006, 14:07
Thanks very much for the warm welcome, folks.

Hail! And well-met, again!" to all - you humble me with your honor.

@frogbeastegg Alas, Lass, 'tis even worse, I fear. :laugh4: The upper-lip growth has spread to chin and cheeks as well, due to a promise to PFC Smith (my son) to grow a beard until his safe return from Iraq. Solidarity, and all that. Local kids haven't run screaming yet, but I admit, silence descends when I'm around. :)

I can't (yet) provide all the excruciatingly boring details of my court-case because similar cases against other people are still pending, and I'd hate to jeopardize their chances of success. I will say: it wasn't the RIAA (tho' that was an excellent guess), it was "the government".

Gregoshi
09-13-2006, 14:14
I can almost see the beard. Have you thought about applying for a Santa Claus job this coming Christmas season?~:santa: It should be a snap for you as you and Santa are in the delivery business.
