I am not 100% sure yet but it seems there is a problem when i besiege a settlement. If an enemy army attacks me and both armies (the garrison and the reinforcements) are defeated, which means I can take the settlement without a fight, the game ends and I am back in the desktop. It happened 3 times with the same situation, I will try again and let you know.

This is the only CTD we know if - but it plagues us. It's the "reinforcement ctd" but only is a problem when multiple generals are present. There is more on this in other threads here. Look for "reinforcement ctd" problem. It does not happen on 'auto resolve' - but obviously we are still trying to get rid of it.

I have a problem with the AI using the phalanx. It seems that the AI usually will break up the phalanx when they should not. I am playing Koinon Hellenon and am fighting Eleutheroi, Seleukid, and Ptolemy on h/m. It it too easy for me to cause the AI to divert the elements of the the phalanx and destroy it piecemeal. It is especially noticeable when I charge my cavalry out, do a U-turn, and retreat. Whatever Phalanx units are nearby will break out of formation and pick a new line of march and present their flanks. I thought that most factions that used the phalanx kept it together and kept the enemy to its front. It seems really rare for the AI to do so. It would be better on the march to refuse a flank as a whole phalanx than to pivot a unit. Pivoting a unit can work if all phalanx units are stationary. Does the AI get any better on h or vh, or does this merely give their units better stats? Also, I have rarely fought generals. I wonder if having a traited character in charge helps keep the AI phalanx together.
