Roman Civil War Online K.O. Championship

I´m happy to announce the first Roman Civil War Online K.O. Championship.

either 24 or 32 and if the signup goes great 64 generals will lead their legions into battle. The winner will be awarded the title Roman Emperor. i´m looking for sponsors that will help me with the prizes but i hope to announce them soon.

If you want to compete in the tournament sign up in the Sign Up Thread. There will be explained what you must do to sign up.

The first 24 or 32 will definitly be in and if we can muster an additional 32 generals in the same week they will fight too. If not the first 24 or 32 will fight. Soo be fast. THE SIGNUP WILL START THE 1ST OF AUGUSTUS. Ãnd will be closed a week later on exactly 00.00

The rules are simple. 1 VS 1 battles with the available factions: Roman Julii, Roman Scipii and Roman Brutii. You must use Rome Total War 1.6v Any contester who uses a different faction will be disqualified. Cheaters and Late comers will also be disqualified. Their opponont will automaticly advance to the next round.

After the signup is over I will make the pairs. I will try to for atleast the first round to put as many people from the same timeline or country together. After i have announced the pairs those who really can´t fight on those times can PM me and we will try to find an solution.

Battles will take place between 15:00 and 22:00 on the 15th 16th and 17th of Augustus. The dates of the next round will be announced later.

The winners must post a screenshot of the Battle results in the Battle Results Thread.

And I suggest that you enforce the rule about posting only screenshots as in my forum I asked them to post just screenshots in my tornament then someone would post screenshots and then the opponent would post results for the same battle.

Is Art allowed as it's not mentioned anywhere.

Is the amount of Denarii 15 or 12.5k ?

And the limit is 12.5 K

sorry i forgot to mention that. I still havent received any replies from the admins... so i won't start the signup and stuff, because i need a subforum to keep it organised.

i don't think spamming cohorts will be easy to win with... but im going to run some tests today and check what the best moneyset is to take out armies with sumthing like 20 praetorians in it and stuff like that.

Well i've got an answer from the admin and the answer is no. No announcement and No subforum. The subforum i dont care about too much but no announcement is a setback. Do you guys want to help me get the required amount of players?

ive done some tests and i found that 11K is good.

you can get a well balanced army but you wont be able to fill all 20 spots if you go for elite units only.

I defeated a 12 urban cohort army wich is the most you can get with 11K with this:

1 general
2 legionary cav
2 auxilia cav
4 auxilia archers
6 old legionaries
2 new legionaries
3 town watch

i won a herioc victory. I know this is the AI and they arent that good but a doubt a guy who just spams 12 urbans is a great tactician.

The spaces for this tornament are half full and we're looking to make it a total of 24 players.

The tornament works by way of knockout for example.

In the first round there is 24 players so they play 12 1v1's. Then the round after that there is 12 players who play 6 1v1's etc etc until it reaches the semi finals. I can't quite remeber how the semi and final works so I will come back and post when I remeber which will be more than linky tomorrow.
