Rome: Total War - Alexander got a 3 out of 5 by X-Play on the gaming tv network, G4. They praised the new factions in custom battle mode, but their main complaints were obvious: only one playable faction in campaign mode, the campaign ends too soon, and the game is over even if Alexander catches a cold and dies.
