Well Many, just because they never played against them. I do know tough that they couldn't beat Norwege 4 times in a row.

Close. I'd be surprised if Brasil has ever met the Faroe Islands so I'd guess that have a 100% record.

The citeria should of course be at least 2 games played (1 game and a rematch to get even)

:2thumbsup: :laugh4:

Norway - Brazil

1988 : 1 - 1
1997 : 4 - 2
1998 : 2 - 1
2006 : 1 - 1

:book:

I guess Brazil has a Norway complex. 2 - 0 in games as of yesterday.

Impressive. :2thumbsup:

Two similar trivia spring to my mind:

- Spain has never beaten France in a competitive match. They failed to do so again last world cup, much to the delight of French supporters as there is a fair bit of rivalry involved.

- Dundee United have played against Barcelona four times in the European Cups, and those crazy Scots have won all four matches. :laugh4:

They drew Barcelona in 1966 and 1986, and won both their home and away matches on each occasion. Dundee Utd. (http://www.dundeeunitedfc.co.uk/index.asp?pg=301)

Have they ever gone against, say, Iran, Egypt, Australia, USA or Saudi Arabia?

More odd info: last year, England vs. Armenia was a draw. I think that is humbling for England and great for Armenia.

Brazil – Australia
2006: 2 – 0

Brazil – USA
1994: 1 – 0

At least one win...

Can't say they have ever played Iran, Egypt or Saudi Arabia, you'll need statistics from "private matches" for that. I can't find any.

I Believe Iran won from the us in 1994, the first time they got in to the world cup. I believe it was 1-0 for Iran. (or ws it another country? My memory is failing me. But I was right about norway!)

Saudi Arbia: I believe to vaguely remember a freindly match between them, won by the us.

Egypt: no idea.

I understood Tiberius' question to be regarding Brazil, not the US.

I could tell you about Super Bowls and the evolution of the forward pass, but not that strange sport you globals call "football." :laugh4:

All I know is an American gentleman just bought some English soccer club. Beyond that...

Brazil, iran? Never happened, I believe, not in competition at least, O think. Me tired.

Egypt? In competition? Not as far as I know, they never got much far in the World cups. Don't know about federation cups. But I'm quite sure they haven't played ijn competition.

Saudi Arabia, no idea.

Brazil vs US. Manny times, but I can't remember any results.

Brazil vs Australia:last game 2-0 for Brazil as you guys probably all still remember.

Wikipedia has som great WC statistics.
Brazil (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brazil_national_football_team)

It seems we have two more nations that Brazil have not won against (not counting friendly matches)

Hungary (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hungary_national_football_team)and Switzerland (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Switzerland_national_football_team)

but searching further in Wikipedia I found this:

Trivia

Norway is the only team in the world who has never lost to Brazil (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brazil_national_football_team), winning two matches and drawing on two other occasions.

Really? That shall be interesting trivia to bring up in school tomorrow, especially since a few of the players over the years have come straight from my school...
