EB and BI installations

I have recently clean-installed in order to play some MP games against some friends who I conned into buying RTW in order to play EB0.8 when it arrives.

I was wondering, however, if I could install EB0.74 and continue to play BI so I could play a singleplayer game that was actually somewhat interesting, and continue to play some MP games with my friends?

Install R:TW (vanilla, without patches) and create a copy of the master folder called EB 0.74 or something similar. Install the zipped version of the 1.2 patch in that folder, followed by EB 0.72 and the 0.74 patch. Then you can install BI in the original folder. Make a copy of this one too called EB 0.8*. That's the way I did it.

* You don't need to copy the BI folder, but you may want to do this as some people maintain that the BI.exe gives better A.I. perfomance on the strategic map, so an unofficial EB port to EB 1.6 is certainly a possibility.
