Allright, looks like the human player really messed up the population happiness.Since in rtw,i usually have green icons for my population in all provences,I am a bit worried when i see all those blue icons :help: .
Will it be very hard to keep your population happy?Or did the tester just messed up? I have seen another screenshot, showing paris and reims etc.
There, population wasn't that happy either but I can't find that screenshot.
Plz feel free to give your thoughts about this.

Maybe he was not playing seriously?

But anyway, blue faces may be the sign of a tight campaign. There's not much (any?) benefit going above a blue face, so when I am playing a tough campaign with real constraints, I often squeeze my towns down to the 75% loyalty limit. Especially, where my cities are large and I don't want population growth.

Now I think there will be motive for sparing rebels and releasing prisoners instead of going for the dread.

Don't worry, Leon is green, and Granada and Cordoba are just huge in population, i clearly see 15504 in Granada meaning a high level of squalor. My settlements in RTW are surely blue when i tax them High/Very High at this population level.

They need more plagues to control the population.
