This site (http://www.electoral-vote.com/) has a nice breakdown of the mid-term Senate elections, using the latest polls. I love anything I can mouse over. That's just pleasant.

Being somewhat familiar with the race in PA- I'd argue it's a mistake to list the state as "Strong" Democrat. The 10% lead they average out is due largely to a 18% lead shown by the Gallup poll. That poll is an aberration, with all others showing the race at 8% or less.

I wanna beat the hell out of the people who made that map.

The three-way race in Connecticut, where Lieberman has the lead, is shown as blue because it is the stronger of the two primary parties.

"Independant voting... does not compute... default to monolith colors."

Nobody like the poll page. Hey, click on the state, and you can drill down to more polls. I still think it's neat, despite the problems with the pretty colors.

I've been trying to get into Baseball for years. Not because I like the sport - it bores me to death - but for the infinite amount of statistics it generates.

I have the same feeling about American elections. :2thumbsup:

If not for the mindless stats, it might be noticed that there's not much else...
