Help please!!!

I just picked up total war: eras, I loaded only metw, I was able to play the beginning tutorials when I went to try the single player camp. everything goes fine the loading bar fills up and then the game drops me to desktop!!!!!!
I have tried to load the game several diferent ways and still no luck. the vers is 2.01. I tried to email support but they have had more than 24hrs and no responce. please help me get a fix on my addiction. THANKS!! in advance.

Looks similar to the good ole' too new nVidia card CTD... try turning anti-aliasing down to 2x in the graphics card driver's settings if you have a geforce newer than 4xxx. If not, perhaps somebody else can help you ;)
