Way to get legendry swordsman event

In the past, when i played shogun i always got this event when my general reaches rank 4 but this does not seem to be the case for my current campaign.

So i think that the real tigger may be the number of kills the general unit obtain in a single battle as i remember reading somewhere that some guy is able to get this event in the very first turn.

The event isn't tied specifically to the Daimyo unit. I don't remember the specfic trigger, but any individual man in any type of unit can reach the honor level required and trigger the event.

I do remember that it is much more likely if you fight the battles yourself on the 3D battlefield rather than autoresolve, and if you fight often. The more battle experience a unit gets, the more likely one of its soldiers will gain enough honor to trigger the event.

Just fight the battles yourself, and have the same army fight several battles. That should be a bit, though you I usually don't have to 'work on it', the event occurs after a while anyway. (at least, with my 'playing style')

okay so this means the event can only be tigger by reaching a since honour level, by any chance did u guys remember the honour level required?

I always thought it was due to one man making 10 kills, but I may be wrong.
It's definitely possible to get it on your first battle.
I'm sure if you search this forum you'll get a more definitive answer.
