This is off the topic of this section but being a junior member, i cant post on the appropriate board.

Im just trying to get the word out about my latest RTW Machinima Movie to the community. Even though im new to this board, ive been part of the twc community for a long time. (Just found out about this forum)

ANYWAY
It tells an epic story of a Roman named Appelius who challenged the Gauls. With original music, great voice acting, and epic battles, rome total war fans do not want to miss this!

And for you history nerds, you may notice some things resembling real history. I try to stick close to real events, but all names and details are fictional.

This is supposed to be episode 1, but chances of more episodes are looking slim. Mostly due to so many resources into making this and the upcoming Medieval 2:Total War, and rome becoming outdated. A sequal in a different era perhaps?

I´ve seen the trailer, from TWC, that was pretty cool. I´ll be sure to watch Episode One when I get the opportunity.

And I´m certainly looing forward to any MTW2 productions, not the least because I like the medieval background.

I just finished it a moment ago. Well done. I liked the Senate scene and of course, the massive battles. There may have been a line or two of dialogue that sounded a great deal like something from Gladiator.

On the whole, a very good production.

Hey, can't find fault with that movie! Are the units basic or have you used a slightly modded version?

Perhaps a project using the Republican units in a mod like RTR would be good? Due to the differing colours of units they certainly look better than the uniformed coloured vanilla troops.

Excellent work, what can I say.......I really enjoyed the music and the voice acting is far better than in the actual GAME!

Wow, I bet you can't wait to get a copy of M2:TW now:2thumbsup:

Wow that was awesome........the opening battle reminded me of how Gladiator started. I especially liked the voice acting! If you're not going to do a sequel with the Rome engine, than i would definently like to see one of these with M2TW's engine.:2thumbsup:

A lot of the units actaully looked much cooler than those in RTW. But did any Roman troops really wear tiger skins?

Thanks again guys.

I used RTR with Carajudos Imperial Units. Like I said, I wasn't aiming for absolute accuracy, it was for entertainment. I think most of the roman skins were slightly exaggerated with the designs and everything, but i think they did actually have some tiger skins in the period.

I just managed to watch it, very neat. The voice-over for the senate was nifty. Make sure to continue movie-making, especially when you get MTW 2!
