Alexandros Preview 2: The Greek Cities

Today i give you the 2nd preview of Alexandros, detailing the units that are available to the Greek cities faction. The Greek Cities will not be playable in campaign, only Macedon is. They will be playable in custom battles.

Note: i don't know how accurate most of the units are. Some such as the Athenian Hoplitai and Iphkrates Hoplitai i know to be accurate, others i've had to go on what little i find. The units are not being changed, so please do not comment on the accuracy of them. If you see speling mistakes please do correct me.

I have used some of the units beee from Megas Alexandros sent me, some of webbirds skins, the plume from ATG's spartans and small parts of LaCas work in these units.

The basic greek units: hoplitai, ekdromoi hoplitai, hippeis will be recruitable by Macedon if a certain government type is built. More info will be in the recruitment poreview which will not be until after the map is finished.

Cavalry

Whilst the Greeks are best known for their hoplites, they did use calary, albeit it in small numbers.

Good medium cavalry, well able to take on light cavalry and skirmishers, but no match for the Macedonian heavy cavalry.

"Out-runner" hoplitai who are lighter than normal hoplitai and are used to chase down skirmishers.

Athenian Hoplitai are heavily armoured hoplitai well equipped for battle.

Much better looking than vanilla. But those companions look a little too boring and plain. Don't they need a little more decoration? Anyway, it definately looks better overall.
