In MTW 1, there were titiles of office, you can give your generals a title of your choice and asigne Governors to generals. It was not included in RTW but to some extant in RTW-BI, in which you don't have the full control, it was attached just like any other ancillaries.
I miss the old way in MTW 1 for asigning titles.
I'm woundering how is this done in MTW2. I couldn't find anything from the search of TW centre and the guild here.
Anyone has any ideas?

I'm definantly dissapointed that titles won't be in this time. It confuses me as to why they wouldn't put them in, even to the extent that they did in BI. Hopefully ancelleries make up for this somehow.

I was hoping they could put it in, but i read from somewhere that CA decided against it.

Well with how different the campaign map is now I am not sure how they would do the little counters you dropped in the chosen guy..
Maybe the BI style of titles could work and would be surpized if they where completely absent...
It seems to me it would be easy to do. Each town would spawn an ancillary, with a title like 'Regent of Wessex' or something, that you could give to a general. I think the tricks would be to apply the general's modifiers to a town he's not in. Also, could you make a single general the governor of all your towns by giving him all the ancillaries? That's basically the king, isn't it? If not, they would have to build in some kind of block to prevent more than one Regent ancillary being attached to each general.
Once those technical hurdles are handled, I don't see any gameplay problems. It was a great feature of MTW, so if the problems are not technical, I don't understand why they wouldn't put them in.
