Now you may think this game looks ugly, but in motion it's a thing of beauty. Great graphics, awesome soundtracks, fun cute sounds, all is lovely. Game is simple, just navigate a lumb of cuteness through a level and get as many points as possible, some light puzzles and a few hard jumps, not a challenging game at all, but god is it FUN.
get it.
Imagine how much better it would've been on the DS though. :laugh4:

Uhm, yes :laugh4: PSP is a cool little machine though, it has movies, and even a few games ~;) But, compared the greatness of the DS it sucks gigantic sphereshaped objects.
but god is this game FUN
Yeah, from what I've seen of it, it definitely looks like a great game. Not good enough for me to buy a PSP though.
Any PSP owners would be remiss in passing it up though.

I already found my "Must Have" PSP: Me & My Katamari
:loveg:
Strangely completily unavailable here, from what I heard about it you might like this game as well. It is just all so cute and weird, can't put it down once I started.

Also a game that would've been more at home on the DS. ~;p

I have yet to see a DS game produce MP3-quality music.

Mark - Dude, check out this new game I got!
Nick - Oh, I played that, it's really boring.
Mark - Yeah, but it's got mp3 quality music!
Not saying the game is boring, just demonstrating that the quality of the music is completely unimportant and it is a stereotypical argument of a sony console player.

Unlike some people, I actually like my music to be high quality in my games, which is why I like Katamari Damacy

Sometimes music is necessary in order to keep the mood/atmosphere/whatever working, sure, but overall, it really isn't a 'which console is better' issue don't you think?

At what point did I say it was? I like my DS far better than my PSP. I was just mentioning that I like my PSP because of the quality of music it can give me in certain games (IE Katamari)

To each their own- I would've taken touch screen functionality over mp3 quality sound for that game.
I actually think the DS sound quality is quite good, it's just the speakers that suck- try some quality headphones and hear the difference.
Incidently, I read recently they're going to release an mp3 player for the DS soon....

I doubt Me & My Katamari would port very well to the DS. As good as the DS is in producing great games, the shading and processing required for all the polygons in Katamari would be too much of a strain for the DS. Sometimes it's a strain for the PSP as well on some levels.
The DS seems capable to serviceable 3D graphics- but yeah, it definitely wouldnt have had the graphical spit and polish of the PSP. :shame:

I have headphones on my DS from my GBA!
Oblivion is coming to the PSP. DS cannot compete.
Some music in PSP games is dire. One game I stuck in headphones, and preferred to play in silence.
So few good games. I don't understand it...
GTA:SA, Syphon Filter, Wipeout, Twisted Metal, NFL street, Madden, Infected, etc.... + Movies and Music. Theres no lack of good games on the PSP.

An Oblivion based game, with a new setting. Don't get too excited.

Based on Bethesda's other "mobile" gaming efforts, Im going to go out on a limb and say it's going to suck. ~D
Looks pretty sweet!
