View Full Version : What is "Instagib"?
One day I was bored so I decided to check my warnings and I found several, that is types of warnings not actual number of warnings I have received (I have actually had no warnings at all :angel: ). The first three I understand, but what is "Instagib"? Obviously it is something very serious to give you thousands of ban points. Could somebody please expain what it means?

It's not a warning that will be used against users. If things get very wrong, it will still be the forum admin to bark.
Lately, we got quite some commercial and non pg-13 spam on the forums. So, the moderators need a tool to get rid of such accounts quickly.

Instagib was a popular game modification included in the default mods in Unreal Tournament (and later the various incarnations of UT). Everyone in the game was equipped with a weapon (that couldnt be changed out or dropped) that was essentially a shock rifle that could instantly kill anyone on the map, regardless of health or shields, and would explode the hapless opponent into many gibs. Hense the name "Instagib"

To this day, I still love playing the original UT with Instagib on Facing Worlds CTF with bots. So challenging, and so satisfying when you actually DO get a chance to score

Darn, good memories. The mods here sure have their wicked sense of humor. Instagib = Instant Ban.

It is the fast way ofban you ?
You have to drink at least three litres of coke and be under the age of 18 in order to play UT Instagib mode or games such as counterstrike effectively. My reflexes aren't that good these days, but I always preferred the Unreal single player to UT. Nowadays I don't do FPS.

so basicly a anti-hack-spam/anti-spam-bot system
here a quick run through what I mean
Anti-hack spam system
basicly a system to get rid of hackers, Young bloods who post to much regull like 1 a sec
ant spam bot system
basicly a system to get rid of bots basicly these .orgers have not even slightest too be orgers because they have no souls!!! (even more so than moderator and admins! the have souls,but only just ~;) )
