Is there anyway to turn off the number of turns you get in the campaign?
I took things rather slow at the start, and it just doesn't look like i will have enough time to capture all the cities.
Greetings, Svenska! ~
Are you playing vanilla Rome, or are you playing BI?
Yeah, BI really didn't appeal to me, so it's just vanilla Rome for me.
Does it matter?
Hmm... I don't know if this'll help but if I remember correctly, there's a mod that allows you to increase the number of turns you get per year. Granted, it doesn't remove the turns but it sure adds a lot more..
You should be able to edit the amount of years it goes but I'm not sure how.

Also: remember that you don't have to capture all the cities. I'm not sure how much are needed for a grand victory, but it's certainly not the whole map.
In RTW for the Imperial Campaign it´s 50 provinces, including Rome, for every faction. And you´ve got almost 600 turns at your disposal - I´ve actually never - ever! - made it into the AD time, not even below 100 BC.

I'm a turtler too, and even I've never needed the full 600 turns to conquer the map.
That said, Svenska, if you still want to know how to mod that, then I recommend paying a visit to the Scriptorium (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/forumdisplay.php?f=77); odds are good they've got a thread or two already covering your question. If not, you can still check out Modding Questions (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/forumdisplay.php?f=73). Good luck!
