It is well "known" that for a good negociation you need a small dog with you. In the case of a hard barging you can always say ..."Kill Popo - KILL!"

Mind you we do not actually see what stat changes the the yappy dog makes, it could be the princess equilivent of a Drunken Uncle...

Actually as she has the trait Deplomatic Ability and yet her Charm stat is still at zero I think it is likely to be a negative thing... :laugh4:

Why, is it the cheesy cod-foreign language dialogue?

The rest looks ok - I like the information about the faction you are dealing with and sometimes being able to know their "priorities" ("peace" is one - I wonder what the others are?) is very intriguing. Giving the AIs a "personality", Civ style, so some are warmongers, some Ghandhi's etc would greatly enhance the game IMO.

Well, it's a comic-relief kind of thing. You can actually imagine any possible voice acting heh. Ofcourse calling "man" a princess is a bit weird, as well as having no endings at all for any german adjectives :P (should have been " mein guter Mann", but that doesn't draw any stereotypical imagery, nicht?).

Yeah it is.

I mean, it just stands in an ill contrast compared to the rest of the game, I mean, its like getting from Braveheart into Blackadder or Monty Python.

I as a german feel a little strange about it because I don't know how much German language is related to nazis and WW2 in the mind of the average anglophone player, but well as long as the HR emperor doesn't welcome you with "Sieg Heil" and his title isn't "Fuhrer" it's still ok.

I would not worry about that, it is just comedy language...

Ze Germans, La French, El Spanish, etc...

The English will either sound hugely posh or like they are from east London...

And gods knows what they will do with the Muslim faction's voices!!

I hope they keep "Strappy Horse" though... :2thumbsup:

Anyone else notice how Englands power went from respectable to Very Strong once they married off the princess and got an alliance with the HRE as a result? Which means that alliances are actually worth something!!!!
