Lear Jet Liberals...

Interesting points. Funny how they bitch so much about "global warming" (even though there is no such thing) but jet around the way they do. Oh well, do as I say not as I do liberalism always fascinates me. Like leftists bands screaming leftist propoganda while selling their tickets for 50 bucks and merchandising. Oh well, enjoy the article and feel free to comment. Praise Allah...

Clearly they should have bicycled to new york city. Or driven and parked their car...somewhere. Does taking a plane across country really pollute more than 40 or 50 cars driving across country?
By comparison, Dubya's America looks good -- emitting 16 percent more greenhouse gases than in 1990.
And this is Dubya's doing :inquisitive:

Don't you just love the 'do as I say, not as I do' attitude of these 'lear-jet liberals'?
"Cut down on your enormous carbon emissions, you and your 2 bedroom house and two cars! Now excuse me, I have a flight on my private jet to catch."
Of course, they use the excuse that they are simply better and more important people.

Dave, liberals are not all in one camp. Deending on who you ask I'm either a liberal sympethiser, or a Rightwing Nazi.
Expensive tickets for events denerates money. That is required in a capitalist society to get things done. It's hardly the $500+ place settings for the political rallies one sees.

Wouldn't it make more sense to tell people to just donate the money instead of flying to these wasteful functions? I mean, if they're really about cutting pollution instead of going to fancy dinners and patting each other on the back for being so darned great, wouldnt it make more sense to just donate?

What the hell is the point of this thread? So goddamn what if THEY can afford an easier method of gettign around the country? They are rich, which is why they could afford to be in politics in the first place. Besides, the reigning fascists do the same thing. None of them believe a damn thing they say, and frankly, the local board pundits (JAG, CR, they are all in the same camp) often look more like cheery little puppets than true believers themselves.
 I hate politics.
The problem is that over such huge distances there are going to be large amounts of pollution however people travel - the answer is dont travel - politicians should rule over the internet :2thumbsup:
Yeah, global warming. ha! fairytails I tell you, it's like witches, truthfull politicians and Canada!

Theres entirely too many lear jet liberals and Trust Fund Hippies at UCLA. I've seen them go on Environment Protests, stopping clean burning vehicles, like Toyotas and Nissans in the streets because they are "polluting" and then after the Protest is done, they jump into their Chevy Suburban with the monster Diesel Engine, with black smoke pouring out the tail pipe. and all I can do is raise my eyebrow.
I love the way Liberals are all stereotyped to be the same, and that if one makes a slight mistake then they are all a bunch of, well you know what. After all, not a single conservative screws up at all, and all are very smart people, especially Bush with his monstoriusly high IQ.

It's always amusing to read about the one thousand complaints on liberalism, and then compare that to the mostly cautious nature of Left-wing regulars. It's such a wonderful, contradictory, and righteous world.
The rich are meant to be hated, by the way. Down with the Bourgeoisie! Drown the Bourgeoisie! Proletarian justice on the Bourgeoisie! ~;p
Wait, what does this have to do with animal Communism?

In animal farm, some of the elite animals are allowed privileges that the rest of the animals are not allowed. One rule for the ruling animals and another rule for the others.
The liberal elite are allowing themselves privileges that the rest of us, are being asked to cut back on. So one rule for the elite liberals and another for the rest of us.
The title is from a quote in the book.

Ohhh, I see now. In that case, it's common sense. People in charge get to do whatever they want and there's nothing you can do about it.

How about something original, and not using someone's work as a crutch? And Orwell was a socialist.:dizzy2:

So we need to screen out any opinions or literature that doesn't coincide with our comfortable world-view?

The idea that somehow Orwell won't cut it for me and that I need a leftist in order to like the allusion. Orwell was a leftist. Maybe that helps you?

I didn't know where it came from, jackass.
Until being insulted, I was only expressing my annoyance with the overuse of Orwell.
