since I can't post no where else, I do it here..

I notice that the FrontRoom/BackRoom (Tavern) has More posts then ANY other section on this Fourm. I find that Sad Because, this is a Total War Fourm, NOT a Fourm to talk about World Events or Poticlals (pardon my spelling) or if Iran going to blow up Iriesal or Wal-mart is Selling Genetric Drugs for 5 Bucks for a Month Supply. I'm not saying you can't do that, just saying it's a TW fourm. I like to know, how many of the ppl in the Tavern ACTUALLY own a TW game?? or played one in the last 1 to 2 years?? Besides that, Half those guys proably don't even do SP Alot, or even Care about Mutiplayer (some people says it sucks,but I disagree).


I can moan more and Complain about mP , but I'll stop at that.

Obviously this is because the Frontroom and the Backroom deal with subjects of an uncertain and subjective nature that bring about divergent reactions from our membership leading to lengthy discussions on a plethora of topics, many bordering on the existential.

The forums dealing with the TW series, on the other hand, are replete with technical and historical issues and questions that are, through the knowledgable input of our excellent membership, often handled far more expediently. Accuracy and brevity are handily achieved.

Such is the nature of offtopic. The posts made there don't count towards a member's post count IIRC.

So what are you saying exactly? Messageboards that don't have off topic areas and try to restrict the userbase to ontopic only, are usually not too popular. The veteran members, after having told 100,000 new members how to get to Ireland, usually always gravitate to the off topic areas eventually.

I'd say about 100% of them.

The majority still play TW, though a few have probably played it to death, and moved on to other things. This doesn't mean that they should leave the forums however. Such people are eventually assassinated by the mysterious cult of the moderators.

Go to the Medieval 2 Area, there are a lot of posts there, and it is very fast moving.

lol k Bom. I like to bring up how I would/will get ban for defending myself, but people from Unknown Wanna Be Clans, like LH (I stop at that,Stig) and others come and flame at me, and I get ban and they get away with it.funny.

The off topic forums have a much broader subject areas that are constantly fed by new events ranging from the silly to the serious. TW game forums see an increase in activity as a new game approaches to discuss what is known about the coming game. The activity remains high for a period of time after the release of a new game to discuss new things learned about it. Once the discovery of new aspects of the game start dropping off, then so does the discussion in the game forums. What drives most forums is having new things to discuss.

Yea, but still. It just, don't ppl get bored of posting in the Tavern everyday/every other day or so.

Plus, some people say MP sucks or are for losers. it amazes me how those people never even set foot on a MP, or at least on a TW MP.I been on MP 2 years 6 Montns (may be 7) and I get offenened when some,nobodies, come on this fourm or .com or something and say that. that only shows they think they all good playing AI on hard, which I can beat in custom battles in 5 minutes :-/, while they whine about playing actual smarter humans online, which is good and a challage.
