Konnichiwa.
I recently was a bit grumpy to a Junior who had a question. As a way to redeem myself I intend to do some voluntary social work here in the Entrance Hall.
If you're looking for anything that has to do with Shogun you're welcome to use this list as a quick start:
Shogun: Total War (the oldest and first game of the Total War series, now included in Total War eras)
For general single player campaign play please go here:
Sword Dojo (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/forumdisplay.php?f=14)
For information on how to play Shogun Multiplayer go here:
STW Multiplayer (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/forumdisplay.php?f=109)
Medieval: Total War
Originally there're of course no Samurai in this version but we have compiled a modification installer that enables you to experience Shogun on the engine of Medieval.
For general information on this modification please refer here:
Samurai Warlords (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/forumdisplay.php?f=105)
To directly download the mod use these two links:
Main download (http://www.mizus.com/files/files/MTW/Stats/STW_Mod_BETA_7.exe) and a patch (http://www.totalwar.org/Downloads/Mtw_Uploads/MTWupload/STW_Mod_BETA_7.1_patch.exe) that fixes some errors.
Please not that this mod is very active at the moment and newer versions are about to be released. The above download link is for the version we call beta_7.
Rome: Total War
There's another modification being worked on to import the Shogun gameplay and feeling into your Rome game, called "Ran no jidai". It's not yet finished.
For general information please go to this subforum:
Ran no jidai (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/forumdisplay.php?f=120) (There're some very nice screenshots)
I hope that helps anybody who can't find his way around the number of subforums we provide at .org.
If any questions remain, please don't hesitate to ask.
