This is probably really worthless but I've seen so many posts like this.
How exactly do I bolden someone else's name, for instance:
Hi Kiwi_88, Derfasciti's problem was already solved in this thread:
The two names in there are bold. How does that work?:help:
When ever your posting either in Quick Reply or Regular reply there is a B in the left side of the and you just highlight the text and click that B. Simple as that.:2thumbsup:

Hello.
The board's software offers a wide range of formatting tools, quite like a text program like Word or others.
As Csar said, it works by highlighting the bit of the text that you want to change. I suggest you either use the function "Quote" or "Reply" to use them. "Quick reply" offers only limited options.
From left to right, bottom row of my screenshot:
Bold, Italics, Underlined,
left aligned
centered
right aligned
Numbered
with bullets
next 2: Indent selected text to left or right (this is right)
Add a link (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/forumdisplay.php?f=105)
The next one allows you to remove the link again.
Email-link (blabla@bla.com)
insert image: https://img154.imageshack.us/img154/2586/formatmenuorgbe9.gif
use quote tags
That should be sufficient.
The others are secret magic tools. I suggest you just try them...
Try to quote my answer and you'll see my formatting.
Hope that helps.

Thanks for the help R'as al Ghul
And Csar
Now that I'm here, is there a way to simply quote a specific line(s) of another member's post?
Just copy & paste the text you want to quote, highlight it, and click the quote button (the one that looks like a text balloon).

Alternatively, you can also quote the person's entire post, and then delete the portions of it you want to leave out. Obviously this is generally more practical if you're quoting more than just a sentence or two, however.

Lol I never knew that, I just manually type [b] bb code [/ b] without spaces of course :inquisitive:
