music changes doesnt works

I have making some changes in descr_sounds_music.txt(this is the file of the music of RTW)and nothing happens.
I managed the game to change the order of the tracks in the battle when they are attaking or being attaqued, making the first track "Romantic Battle" and not "Imperial Conflict".
Running RTW, going into a battle, attaquing, but Romantic Battle doesnt sounds.

Now the question for why the changes to this file doesnt works?

did you delete events.dat in sounds folder?

So, if I delete events.dat this changes will be applied?

that's what i did to activate chanceg bro.
if u dont, game reads the old file.
do that, no error will be.
