I'm the same way... I'm 18 but mentally i'm around 60 or so... I'm grumpy and forget simple daily things... For example, i'll fill the kettle with water, and forget to switch it on... Then forget i even wanted to make a cup of tea in the first place so it doesn't matter that i forgot to switch it on...

I won't say exactly how old I am, but I'm the same age as khelvan and a couple of other EB'ers. I *think* myself, Urnamma, Forgus, khelvan, Aymar, Angadil, and a few others are all within a few years of each other, and are in the 27ish to 35ish range, though there are even some EB founding members (i.e., who were on the team at its inception a few years ago) who are still in their teens.

Enjoy your youth while it lasts, young ones. Having been 18 for over 6 months now, I can say that your life will never be the same. The innocence will step aside as the grim reality and all sorts of darkness invade your personal self, tainting what was once the purity of the child for ever.
Mark my words, for now I shall head for the nearest bar. :burnout:

i see that ppl are saying what they study...well im 24 years old as i said before...but i had been in various diferent universitie's...at 17 and a half i was acepted in Chemistry Engeneering, been there untill the 3th year, than i went to Psychology for one year, and finally i boarded a Nursing School 3 years ago...only one year till i finally end my education after all this changes....=) from kemistry to psychology, cuz although i liked chemistry, psychology was thought to be my thing, then i saw it was not to be, than i went to Nursing school(no im not gay) cuz this is what i like to do, i like caring for others specially kids, as im one big kid... and maybe later in a few years i give my self the effort and board Med school....
Edit, im not homophobic, but i had to say that, because nursing has a stereotype for men, that all male nurses are gay, that's not true and the majority of male nurses resent that fact, im not, and most other men in my future profession aren't...at least in my country...in fact many dudes come to this schools because of the abundancy of girls.........and in time end up moving on to other univs after finishing nursing....normally to med schools
here nursing is a very respected and important profession, almost as important, if not more than the medics...when nurses stop and go on strike in my country...everyone craps their pants, cuz everyone fears for their healths, and panic at the thought of not being cared and treated, but that never happens, because although on strike, minimal services are always assured....

Honestly the older I get the more I find myself nodding my head in agreement with Marvin the Paranoid Android during his worst bouts of depression.
Sadly there is much solidarity here on Magrathea with every single comment in that Earthling show from the UK "Grumpy Old Men". Watch both series for an accurate overall perspective.
Anyway since retiring from being an award winning Planetary Designer, once got one for some of my fjiords you know, lovely glaciers they had, I've taken up what appear to be the three main human activities of Rastifarian practices, retirement and Computergames and the EB mod of RTW fills in a lot of time nicely on nonFIFA days and waiting for the mice.

Can you get a GED (High school equivilant) in Australia???Yes that sort of thing does exist and I have seriously considered it but for the time being I think I'm better off staying where I'am at least for another year I have moved around a lot and as a result my work history is very scattered which worries potential employers.

They do, and it is wrong. But i have to say, America being the greatest country ever (as says your location text) is highly, HIGHLY, debatable...
And every people on earth are reliable on their government... Don't make out like the people of Britain are government reliant suppressed serfs because that's simply not the case... You know how much the dole is these days? £70 a week... That's £70 a week to pay your gas, electric and water bills, phone bills, television license, TV bills (if you have sky or cable), buy clothes, food and other life essentials... As well as enjoy life!
Add it all up and you'll find that £70 a week isn't nearly enough to enjoy life to even the smallest extent with, so don't say stupid things like the government are making us more and more reliant on them by doling out JUST enough money each week to get by...

America rocks. Don't hate. You're just jealous because you're only Satan #2 to all those violent zealots who call themselves Muslims. I know these things, because I am an American, and we know everything. Jealous, jealous, jealous.
I'm not saying it's bad... I think America is a wonderful country... One of my things to do before i die is visit every state in America in under a year... You know like a tour.. But on the whole, i would say that the British government is more sympathetic to people who have no education or money... Whereas in America... No job... No money... Simple as that... At least in Britain you never have to worry about not having a home or money... Because if you go bankrupt and lose your home, you'll get a council house rent paid for free, and enough money each week to get by for as long as it takes for you to get a new job and back on your feet...

Anyway, you just have to be a little hardworking to succeed in America. It's not like other places where you can work extremely hard at the bottom and not go up.

America was a lot smaller than the United Kingdom and her colonies until very recently.
