Is it possible to change the amount neighbouring region's religion influence another region?

I've noticed it's 5% per region, and if you have 4 neighbouring regions of a particular religion, then thats a wopping 20% influence each turn!!!! Too much I think.

I'm actually trying to develop a Class System using religions so hopefully I might be able to reveal something soon.

I haven't seen anything that changes that and suspect it could be hardcoded.

You could change amount of influence exterted by buildings (in EDB) and by leaders etc. in export_descr_character_traits and export_descr_ancilliaries so that they have more effect and counteract neighbour effects more.

Idea sounds interesting.....

I ... suspect it could be hardcoded.

I think so too, though as you said, increasing the effects of everything else would make this effect less important. Having said that, it'll also mean that religions convert very fast.
