View Full Version : "View First Unread" function not working?
I've been noticing this now for the last couple days; and while it could still just be my imagination, I'm starting to doubt that less and less:
Lately when I've gone to check out a thread that I'd viewed previously, and click on "View first unread", it often takes me to several posts past the most recent unread post. In a couple cases, it's even taken me to the next page, when I know that I'd never before seen the last few posts on the previous page.
It's certainly not a major issue or anything, but it is kind of annoying at times. Has anyone else experienced this problem, or is it just me (and my schizophrenic computer)?

It can be a bit messed up from time to time, but it's been working rather well for me the last couple of days
I'm still having problems with this. I go to look at a thread, and it puts me all the way to the last post, often times skipping an entire page's worth of posts. :dizzy2: Am I truly the only one experiencing this issue?

So is it taking you all the way to the end of the thread as well then? That is just weird. :inquisitive: Well at least I know I'm not the only one affected!

Mostly shooting in the dark here, but did you try using another browser, to see if the problem still persists ? Also, try removing totalwar.org's cookies, and relogin and all that, see if that fixes it.

Are you logged in as Martok or looking at threads while being unlogged guest?

I'm always logged in as Martok, whether I'm at home or work. (And yes, I've had this problem with both my home and work PC's.) I'm going to try Blodrast's suggestion and log out & back in, though, and see if that does the trick. Keep your fingers crossed!
