i was wondering what camera settings players usually use

let's assume that every RTW lover likes a bit of realism and the 'restricted camera' box is always checked (restricts the view to the local area of the units)

but what about other options:

1. RTS camera setting (new arrival)
2. good old MTW camera setting without General camera setting (the classic)
3. General camera setting (restricts the view to the local are of the general unit)

i usually choose the RTS camera setting, i have the impression that it makes the battles very fast and dynamic, and for me it's the best of the three as fas as camera movement is concerned, i don't like tha fact that angles are fixed though

with the MTW camera i always had problems with moving and turning fast, which often made me very confused and i had to press the pause, which considerably slowed down the action

i've tried general camera a few times but it didn't impress me, do you think that it's more realistic? it's certainly harder, but harder doesn't always mean more realistic

I'd love to have the camera from MTW back where you could angle it by right-clicking.

Well I think the camera from RTW is good enough it makes battles a bit harder and IMO more realistic.

I'm going to sound like a right newbie, but what's the difference? :help:

@ econ, try them :)

I just use whatevers defeault, doesn't bother me. Ofc that excludes gen cam, I'd never use that (if your gen dies, you lose total view of battlefield). For Napoleonic Total War 2 I'm using total war camera, its the default and fine to use, for m2 demo and BI I use RTS..again, because its defeault :P
