Well folks, finally got around to gettin' me a set of drums, always wanted to. Any other drummers at the org? What do you guys think of this little gem?

I think that's a great set. There enough skins there to handle all your beats.

I can play a bit, bongos as well, good fun.

Congrats, Wonderland. Make your attacks for me, I had given up drums since I wasn't able to get a drum set. ~:mecry:

When I was a kid I wanted a drumset, but for some reason I just don't understand my parents decided against it.

Hmm... I was thinkin'... maybe we could set up a .Org band? There are plenty of musicians in here, we could have our own little group! What'dya say folks? List your qualifications here so we can figure out who plays what ~;) .

Drums (soon)
It'll take alot longer than soon to get good enough to play shows, it really is harder than alot of people think...if you dont have a natural rythym you may as well give in...but then again i couldnt play them a year ago and now im quite good.

Nah, I've been in the music world since I was 5 so my natural rhythm is pretty decent. I've been practicing on a practice pad with a metronome for the past 3 days, already getting better. Found myself a kick-butt teacher too so I'll be ready to go quite soon :2thumbsup: .

I said the joke in the forums before, but here it goes anyway.
(Should be easy enough to figure out...)

What do you call someone who hangs out w/ musicians?

A drummer!
