Howdy all i just got rome total war eras a few weeks ago.
good game :2thumbsup:.
question time
1. what is with the deal you take a town turn it green and the nect turn the game kicks a full stack out and gives the town back to the faction i took it from and gives them a full stack as well ?
2.what mods work with eras edtion ? i tryed a few but ended up reinstalling it.
Atm i am on my selcond campagian with the grey army. man what a mad rush with the brutii to kill them before the ai does.
3. is Egypt and fun to play ? i am hoping to unlock them in this campain.

Hello, and welcome to the Org!~:wave:

1. The city has rebelled and due to the culture penalty and high amounts of unrest it has reveerted to its original faction. They may have a full stack of troops, but they are usually low-quality. I suggset exterminating the population once you re-capture it.

2.AFAIK there are no mods for the eras edition of rtw:embarassed: . However, Europa Barbarorum (EB) is going to have patch 0.8 soon, which will work with the version of RTW that comes in Eras.

3. I don't find Egypt paticularily fun to play. I just can't get past the grossly inaccurate way they are depicted inthe game. Nice chariot units, and for some reason they have the best archers in the game, but other than that, there's nothing really special or fun about them.

3. I think Egypt is fun to play. I liked their army composition of spearmen to protect the archers and pin enmey infantry with very fast cavalry component with which flank. Best bet is to give it a go for yourself and see.

Not to mention they have rich provinces, they are a powerhouse for getting money.

is that 0.8 patch going to cover the Rome Gold Edition as well?
