Does multiplayer work in EB? In RTRPE it didn't and that's why dowloading it was a mistake :wall:, because I also want to play multiplayer battles with my friend.

Thanks :laugh4:

You both need to have the same version of EB to be able to play multiplayer together.

That's the point my friend:wink2:
Have you (All of you) ever asked yourself ,Is it possible to find and purchase a LEGAL product (Like this one) everywhere?

He is refering to a legal version of Rome - Total War (ie payed for, installed from a cd, etc.). As for the mod, EB is perfectly legal, in that CA never said, "NO MODS!" Also, many major mods for certain games will contact the makers and ask as a formality.

sorry I ask, I'm kinda dumb. But you're pretty much saying that RTW is illegal where you live?

I don't think RTW is illegal anywhere... (?) Though it is illegal if you download it off the internet through file sharing, in which case the multi-player will not work.

Totally wrong ,In where I live ,people didn't have access to fast and reliable internet connection at least when RTW:BI came out.MarcusAureliusAntoninus ,Thanks for your responses ,but you're lack in information.I'm pretty sure ,you don't know mutch about where I live.

And it is better to finish talking on this topic ,Because of yourselves

I'm a little cofused what you mean here. Where you are there is no internet, so...

My only point is that if you download a game (game, not mod) from the internet and don't pay (they now have the direct-to-drive stuff that is legal downloads), then you are breaking international copyright laws, dispite where you are. And depending upon the game, most will not have internet feature, such as multiplayer, enabled.

I am sorry if there is a misunderstanding.

Well... I don't want to be a boring RTR-lover but...

If you don't find any EB-folks to play against, you might wanna check out the totalrealism forum and you will find a multiplayer sub-forum. You are welcome to join ous in there if you want to play realistic MP-battles.

We got tournaments, belts, chats, tactic talk, drunk people. You name it. It's pretty damn fun. If you get xfire you will always have someone to fight. :)

You are welcome. :2thumbsup:

Perhaps looking at his location tag might help?
