Myrmidons: An elite unit in Greek Army. A small group of selected soldiers who acted as shock troops. Most famous for their bravery and courage in the Trojan War. Renowned troops, who make the enemy flee!
{myrmidons_descr_short}
The famous soldiers commanded by Achilles during the Trojan War. An elite in the greek army, they have never lost a battle. Inspiration to all friendly units, and a cause of fear to all enemy!
¬----------------
{greek_triarii} Greek Triarii
{greek_triarii_descr}
These men are proof that desperate times call for desperate measures. In a last ditch effort to save thier nation against the Macedonians, they dressed up thier hoplites in roman armor. The macedonians, who are completely afraid of romans, fled in terror away from the hoplites. Proven to be a good idea, the greeks are attemting to use them to confuse any roman invaders. This, however, is yet to be determined. .\n\n Completely decked out in the latest roman armour, Except for one minor detail...they made it better.
{greek_triarii_descr_short}
Better than the original roman version, these troops are a scare tactic yet to be tested against the romans.
¬----------------
{greek_archer_elite} Pharaoh's Bowmen of Greece
{greek_archer_elite_descr}
Due to Alexander The Great conquering part of Egypt, a massive influx of egyptians poured into Greece. As they grew older, they decided to fight for their new homeland. These troops kept their original customs and beliefs, but are still supported by the gods. Many Greeks detest these fine archers (most of them are jealous anyway), so they have a low standing with their fellows. All of this will likely change, however, if they get the chance to fight for their country.
{greek_archer_elite_descr_short}
Men whose parents had meved to greece during Alexanders time, they are superb bowmen, yet are loathed by the greeks. Let them earn honour and respect on the battlefield!
¬----------------
{spartan_scythed_chariots} Scythed Chariots of Agamemnon
{spartan_scythed_chariots_descr}
Modeled after Agamemnon's own chariot, these scythed chariots are fearsome devices, covered in scythe blades to cut down any infantry foolish enough to stand when charged. Metal blades stick out from each axle like malign horns to cut down infantry. They are, however, somewhat uncontrollable! These units are not only so keen to attack the enemy that they will do so without orders, but also can run amok and attack anyone - friend or foe alike - who happens to be nearby. These are not subtle troops, and their chief power lies in a headlong charge into an enemy formation. Each chariot is pulled by powerful horses, and the crew is heavily armoured.
{spartan_scythed_chariots_descr_short}
Modeled after Agamemnon's own chariot, these scythed chariots are fearsome devices, covered in scythe blades to cut down any infantry foolish enough to stand still when charged. They are, however, somewhat uncontrollable!
¬----------------
{greek_cavalry_archers} Greek Mounted Archers
{greek_cavalry_archers_descr}
Horse-archery is the defining characteristic of warfare on the wide-open steppes of the east, and the greeks have made use of this.Most men of greece are highly practiced in this deadly art from an early age. These archers are disciplined, following the moral code of the greeks. They are equiped with very good equipment , including coats of mail that hang to the rider’s knees when he is in the saddle. They also carry swords, and are not afraid to close for a melee if the opportunity presents itself but are sensible enough not to hurl themselves into the fray without orders.
{greek_cavalry_archers_descr_short}
Well armoured archers, the greeks have made use of the sythian way of life to influence their men. Far quicker than normal archers, these men provide an excellent battle opportunity.

{spartan_scythed_chariots_descr_short}
Modeled after Agamemnon's own chariot, these scythed chariots are fearsome devices, covered in scythe blades to cut down any infantry foolish enough to stand still when charged. They are, however, somewhat uncontrollable!

{greek_cavalry_archers} Greek Mounted Archers
{greek_cavalry_archers_descr}
{greek_cavalry_archers_descr_short}
Well armoured archers, the greeks have made use of the sythian way of life to influence their men. Far quicker than normal archers, these men provide an excellent battle opportunity.
