patch???

oh my gawd. i can't find the proper patch anywhere and it's driving me nuts. I have total war shogun warlord edition with the emperor battle for dune advertisement on the back.

The red box STW needs the v1.12 patch. The Warlords Edition (STW/MI) needs the v1.02 patch. The STW Gold Edition and the one in Eras collection are STW/MI, but don't need patching eventhough they indicate v1.0. If you want to play STW/MI with the red box STW v1.12 unit stats check this thread (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=61917).

Shogun patches (http://www.mizus.com/files/files/STW_WE/Patches/).

Since you are in Canada, I think you want the Euro version patches. You can use the ShogunWv1.01b_Euro.exe for original CA unit stats or the ShogunWv1.02_Euro.exe for the unit stats developed by the community beta team. If you are going to play SP campaign and not MP, I would suggest getting the v1.01 patch.

ouch. that 1.02 official patch sounds ugly. How about i stick with the unpatched version?

Are you sure about the euro patch? I've always gone with (north)American patches since forever, regardless of game company.
