Hi there, first time poster, so sorry if I'm not up to speed on Forum etiquette.

I've looked around the forum, but can't see anything about the Historical Campaigns. I've completed them all, except the French 100 years war, and am stuck on the Loire Valley level. I knock about 4 breaches in the walls, and try send people in each one, but any that do get in get squashed by all the knights that are sitting back waiting for me. Can anyone suggest any help.

I tried downloading some replays of successful campaigns but it just crashed my MTW when I tried to watch them.

Cheers,

Kem

Welcome to the Org. Kemuri ~. I kinda cheated with that one. I used the unlimited ammo for the cannons and also no time limit, all at the game options. And after that havoc in the castle.

Thanks.

I take it you just blasted the merry sweat out of the army inside the walls.

I'll have another try.

Anyone do it with normal settings??

I cant quite remember, but i did complete it, i think i focussed all my cannon on one part of the walls, and sent all my men through the same breach, (which is what i would normally do for castles - but im not entirely sure :2thumbsup:

I've never bothered with the Historical campaigns, other than England 100 years war.

just use your cav carefully, try fainting etc.

maybe send some inf out of the castle to attract the enemy chivs then send your cav at the art
