How to install a graphics card?

I am in desperate need of some 101 idiot proof instructions on how to install a Graphics Card.

I currently have an ATI Radeon x300 SE 128 MB PCI-Express.

I have just received a Nvidia GeForce 7600 GT 256 MB PCI-Express from Newegg (allow me to use this green balloon [:balloon2:] to endorse Newegg).

So:

Please tell me step by step how I am supposed to remove my old graphics card, uninstall its drivers, put in my new graphics card, and install its drivers.

Edit: I was too impatient to wait for expert counsel so I went ahead, prayed, and installed the card myself following the directions. Went off without a hitch and now I'm playing an ultra smooth M2:TW on highest settings! :2thumbsup: :2thumbsup: :2thumbsup:

All i was going to say was open up your computer, remove graphics card, replace graphics card, close computer, uninstall all old drivers, and install new drivers.

x300 se was a pos wasn't it? I had it until I got an x800 xt.
