Yes, if you're here in Britain, the clocks went back early this morning.

Just a reminder for those of you who may have forgot.

Talk of changing it to GMT+2 in summer and GMT+1 in winter... Sounds good. More light in evenings. Less light for farmers.

In Finland, the clocks officially go back between 3 and 4 o'clock Sunday morning, or Saturday evening - the student's preferred definition. What is more interesting, night clubs close at 4 o'clock, with the light signal coming at 3:30, so when the DST kicks in, we should be back at 3 o'clock before the club is closed, which would mean 30 minutes minimum of ethanol transactions at the bars. Too bad I didn't think of that in the club that night.

And less light for all the poor helpless school children going to school across busy roads...

Helpless? Most kids now play video-games in one way, shape or form; how about the government just issue every kid with a free copy of Frogger? They'll work it out, eventually.

Look at the bright side. You get to laugh at us northerners moaning and b*tching about DST after six months or so.
