If you can rip yourselves away from Medeo for a second, a bunch of new screens have just been released by Strategy Informer.

I'm still amazed at the campaign map.
The scots have destroyed the English:laugh4:
Wonderful.

Yea I was just going to post that too.
As you can see,Scots defeated the English, but what intrigues me more is the fact that milan (!) took over France and the Danes pretty much butchered the HRE off.Fabulous if we are going to see the A.I acting so differently every time we start a campaign :2thumbsup:

Well we have seen Milan grow big in other screenshots as well.
There is one where they go north instead and carves out a nice large kingdom and then after some time it collapses.
But the scots are just such a surprise.
In the others screens we have seen them very weak or destroyed.

ok mate, but i'm just surprised in a positif way...

Remember when in rtw the greeks always lost from the Brutii, the julii always won from the gauls and the scipii always slaughtered the Carthaginians?
That just wasn't fun =(
But now that I see these screens , I really have good hopes this has changed. Great job,CA! :2thumbsup:

One of my biggest frustrations is back. Observe the bottom left campaign screen. Notice the Papacy has expanded into Florence...

If that c*$# attacks ME and excommunications ME for BEING attacked by HIM I'll be raging.

hhmm the papacy has the same 2 provinces that he always has.
See no expansion there.

They only start with Rome, but mayby they only attack rebels and excommunicated countries? We will find out soon enough.

He's very spread out here, bottom left again. I just hope what he does makes sense rather then for no strategically sound reason lashing out at you when your clearly more powerful and better positioned.

hhmm I thought I saw them have those 2 provinces from turn 1.
Still, they took one province in 189 turns.
Hardly anything to worry about.

Dude that screens is very old.
CA has probably tweaked the papacy by now to be less expansive.

The aztec face-banners look ever so slightly ridicolous én masse: http://www.strategyinformer.com/pc/medieval2totalwar/screenshot-viewer.html?id=135537

It looks like the conquistadores are fighting a horde of La Lineas or something:beam:

Can't wait, Mydraal... some of these are like movie stills, I don't know if I can bear to wait 9 more days to play the game itself.

Thank you Vikingdemon

Moors are looking very fine. Especially those composite bowmens were nice. And Christian Guards are so cool in their full mail Hauberk and Norman helmets.

Myrddraal, please post some eastern shots if you can.

I just still can't believe I'm going to be playing a game as awesome as this in two weeks time. Not sinking in. I love those shots of the Scots vs. English (ahistorical as the Scots may be), looks so awesome, epic, cinematic. This will be one hell of a game right out of the box, let alone a few months down the line when mods pop up. It's almost... unreal........... *dozes off into euphoric pleasure*

Yeah wow, check this one out, if that's a campaign generated map & the AI is up for some aggressive defence we're in for a much rougher time with sieges this time! :wall:

...but then there is this one showing that its got prepared artillery batteries which indicates its only a historical battle :(
