Hey,


I been hearing different Release dates going around. I'll check .ocm later when I got time, but in the mean while,anyone know the offical release dates??

Is there a reason as to why it's out earlier in europe? On the other hand, usually it's the opposite, so i guess i shouldn't complain about it. :2thumbsup:

CA is originally based in the UK (Sussex I believe), so we are their nearest market.

Because Europe is where CA (the real CA, not the ozzie wannabes :P) is based and thus we deserve it first.

And after my misery at the Dawn of War Dark Crusade release date (like 3-4 weeks after US release, comes out 2moz) I think we deserve it :)

And it look like they spoke the truth, cos otherwice thay have spend both time and mony to make a such big deal of it for no reason...

It is released in the UK atleast on November 10th, every English website has it as the date, GAME etc do also, I do remember a CA member mentioning it as the correct date too somewhere in a thread on here.

Frankly, we should get it first, its set in Europe, we should have first rights to bludgeon our Continental bretheren :laugh4:

It surprises me that Europe gets a big title like this one first.

Usually it's dead last.

And that's usually because of translation issues.

Well the Last time RTW came out, I though it came out in the US 2 days before it came out it Europe, so If I'm right, that might be why..

Congrats to CA for putting europe at the top of the list (since we always get the raw deal Playstation 3 etc) i just hope that it will be out on the 10 in Portugal as well (No confirmation of date yet bad sign) otherwise i might have to go to London next weekend to get a copy lolol)

I might well get it, I know its way more expensive than the 360 but my Playstation 2 is getting a bit old and Playstation 3 will have blueray, thus saving me money.

I wonder why they don't release it on the same day everywhere? Maybe they're on a tight schedule for producing the disks? On the other hand they apparently have already shipped (you know, that Swedish guy) so it might not be that tight after all.

I believe that a lot of staggered releases are because there are different "traditional" days for launching games. In the UK, I've heard, it's Fridays, and in the US Mondays.

But that wouldn't change what order they come in. :idea2:

It is indeed traditionally on a Friday over here, but these online shops actually caused the retailers over here to release Football Manager 2007 and Pro Evolution Soccer 6 on Wednesdays to compete, Sports Interactive actually gave them permission due to some online retailers sending people the game on the Monday.
