There already are muscular implants for guys... it is a more solid variant of the silicon implants used for women. It makes the guys look like they have been doing bench presses, so they have artificial silicon pecks, calf implants, butt implants, you name it.

Maybe. The silicone gel itself is inert. However it could provoke an immune response. So she could get sick, cold/flu sick. But since the body can't really effect the gel it would just sit there. With the immune system trying to kill it, but unable too. I doubt this would happen though, once in surgery they must have scooped it all out.

Despite the fact that the silicone gel in breast implants feels like human fat to the touch it has a different density. So it would change the trajectory of the shrapnel after it entered the bag.

This is actually the second time I've heard of breast implants deflecting a projectile away from a womans ribcage. The first was a womanin Florida (?) who caught a stray bullet from a gun fight at the club she was at. It went in her boob and the implant defelcted away from her heart.
