no standard bearers

too late now but one gripe i have is that the standards seem to be floating in the air. more realistically if one member of the unit would be a standard-bearer as was seen in rtw. :no:

The actual unit banners and upgrade banners still floated aove units in RTW, and the standard bearers were only partof some units.

I've found the standard bearer unit very frustrating and in some cases unnecessary. I would be nice for customization but I think CA just wanted to stick out a few flags and create an effect that looks a lot better, zoomed out.

I liked the standard bearers a lot, they were cool. They just added a little realism for me, but it's good they were only in some units. Made them stand out a little.

Since men/units are already unique in MTWII, I'm none too fussed if it's in there or not (just as implemented in RTW - not carrying the big flag, that wouldn't work; if he died you couldn't get your groups quick!), but it'd be nice I guess.
