Ign has it up, you can find it here,

With the game releasing next week, we're winding up the faction features with a full three this week before the full review hits. We're starting off this triumvirate of Eurpoean powers with the English. Look forward to faction breakdowns of the French and Spanish tomorrow and Wednesday. As in the past, all of these are accompanied by a facton video which can be found in the video section as well.

So sounds like you get a faction daily for three days. It's a nice read my only downside is I don't personally read the unit details to save some surprises, and I can't seem to find the english faction video up yet.

O well at least it's up for thsoe who are interested in england.

armored longbowmen
These troops, armed with the famous longbow, favour greater protection over
mobility. When engaged in melee, their heavy armour provides protection that
allows them to hold out quite a bit longer than their unarmoured
counterparts. The swords they carry provide a handy fallback weapon in close
combat.

Yeah, I was just wondering about that too, but it is possible that they just renamed the armored longbowmen to retinue longbowmen. But the English have it pretty rough, infantry not heads and shoulders above other nations (like the French, HRE), while cavalry really blows. There is no faction specific cavalry (hobilar is just a different name), and only 3two cavalry units (english knights, feudal knights, demi-lancers) other than generals, templars and hospitallers. French infantry is decent, I mean pikemen cannot be THAT much worse than billmen, while boasting 5 or so unique cavs. Plus they even have a french version of the longbowmen according to IGN preview, called Scotts Guard. What gives?

Nothing. They get armoured swordsmen, 4 bill units, their own knight units, loads of archers(The Scots Guard are likely to be comparable to retinue longbowmen, but less common).
