Free upkeep in cities, Not working?

I noticed, that when you have the '' 2 free upkeep units'' option, after you buolt a set of walls in a town, none of the units in the town actually list they have 0 upkeep, like units on a crusade do.

Anybody know's what's the deal? Or if there actually áre free upkeep units for towns.

I don't have the game, but thought I remember that the free upkeep was for Militia...So I bet they have to have the word Militia in their title to get the free upkeep.

The units who have a blue background to their unit in the settlement are those using up the free upkeep slots in the city. Only militia units can fill those slots.

Hi! Write in attributes of every unit in export_descr_unit.txt the following:

free_upkeep_unit

and they will be grey. Good Luck
