Ta spring is a open source RTS (it uses Total Anhilation gameplay and units!:yes: ) it's very good you can play it on the web lots of people on I had trouble getting the game started (I just fiddle with the Settings till I got it right) theres some for it (Aboulute Anhilation is seems to be the most popular)

I played that a while ago, wasn't very impressed. It's terribly optimized and very buggy. Didn't care much for the gameplay, but I was never fond of that in TA proper.
