Q: Resolution / Toggle Fog of War

1) Is there a way to set the resolution to 800 x 600? I´ve tried to manually change the medieval2.preference.cfg but that doesn´t help. The game ignores it and sets it back to 1024 x 768.

2) How can I access the console to turn off the fog of war? Does the "toggle_fow" command still exist?

Don't know about #1, but the console is accessed with the ~ key, and "toggle_fow" still works (don't use the quotation marks).
