so i have been waiting weeks for this day. The day to buy Medieval Total War 2.
I called gamespot a day ago and they said that they would Definitely have it today. but when i arrive they tall me they don't have it. With my rage i could have torn buildings off their foundations. But i controlled my temper. I have to wait 2 days.:furious3: :shame:  :skull:
i even stayed home from school to get it.:furious3:

My condolences.
Given your vexation, I probably shouldn't mention I picked up a copy this morning. Didn't even reserve it. Got the limited edition. At Gamestop. In Arkansas.

LOL... fell your pain...
I got the automated call last night saying it would be available today and when I go in after lunch (reasonable I thought) I get the it's not in, maybe in the later shipment answer (with just a hint of the "why are you bothing me with stupid questions" attitude)...
Well, the world is still turning and the rest of my new super computer does nto arrvice until tomorrow anyway... :2thumbsup:

I had the same thing happen to me. The guy just told me it should hopefully be there morrow and that it didn't get in today. It pisses me off though cause i preordered it there and had I known i would have wandered stores today till I found one that had it. Oh well i can wait on extra day i guess :stwshame:

I agree, I have talked to bestbuy and compusa near me and searched stock on gamestops within 200 miles, I seriously think most gamestops are getting it on the 14th and a few got it 13 for whatever reason, still it was silly to change the date when majority don't have it.

I was under the impression that the day it gets shiped is not actually the day it hits the shelves. At least in my situation, I preordered from EB, got the email stateing that the game shiped on the 13th.
Then again.....I just got an email from CA stateing that the game shiped today, and that it "should be in stores beginging today and in the comming days ahead."
So perhaps everybodies complaint is valid afterall.

Ya, the day it ships is not the day it comes out, they have to distribute them in massive quantities first. The Best Buy I pre-ordered at said they get a shipment in tomorrow and should definitely be in. Ya, patience is not easy when waiting for a game, especially when everyone in Europe is already going crazy about it, they seem to give it great praise.

I just got the last copy from bestbuy CHEEEYA
Screw Gamestop. I have it on preorder, but of course it's not here yet. I found a copy at BestBuy and have the option of going and getting it right now... but I think I'll hold off so I'll get the Gamestop "exclusive" dvd and maps and all that jazz. Also, I have a midterm to study for and it'd probably be best not staying up all night conquering Europe instead ~:) .

Ditto Baltimore... They simply did not know why it did not turn up, the shop was expecting it...
They called me yesterday saying the game will be in stores today. I went there and they said tomorrow. And that's after I had to wait for 20+ minutes cause somebody ahead in the line was turning in a boatload of old games. The second employee was busy looking for a very, very old used game for another customer.
