How do you skin with gimp? I checked the tutorials and they are all on photoshop/3ds max, It would be nice if someone could post one on skinning with gimp. Also is it possible to model with gimp, if not are there any free or cheap modelling programs available that will do a decent job?

yes you can skin with GIMP but you need the .dds plug-in installed with it as well... it's pretty much similar to photoshop so no one's made a tutorial i suppose

and there are no free modelling programs that are able to edit .cas files to create models that anyone knows of... GIMP is just for skinning/artistic stuff
