there is talk in the gov't of killing off all, or most, of the mental hospital patients that can't be cured. They say that they do not contribute anything to society, can't get a job, and waste lots of people's tax money.

Any thoughts?
I for one was sketchy at first, but you can see where they're coming from.

I maintain that the people least likely to contribute to society are politicians. If they're willing to eliminate themselves first, as the complete waste of good oxygen that they are, then I might see where such a program could be extended. After the politicians: financial planners, entertainment "news" correspondents, paparazzi, personal injury trial lawyers, ufologists, and Paris Hilton all top the list of those least likely to contribute anything meaningful to society - in no particular order. The mentally "challenged" are way down the list.

Sensasationalist thread title combined with an almost complete lack of information in the starting post.

I do not see this one going anywhere useful
