In the US, we will be in tryptophan-induced comas or watching the gridiron marathon that is Thanksgiving weekend. Cheers to everyone else! ~

Gasp! I have to be at work on Friday, without the backroom open I might actually have to work.
Happy eating everyone!
I was talking with someone from the Netherlands this morning on the phone describing to him why we have Thanksgiving Day off from work, my answer was so that we can gather our families together to eat and argue. ~D
Have a lovely Thanksgiving, orgahs. Eat lots of turkey and get really drunk! Make fools of yourselves in front of your families!
:gah:
Happy Thanksgiving to all the Orgahs who celebrate it ~
what????.....48 hours without this place???...how to cope.....how to cope?
I gotta get my hands on some drugs......:dizzy2:

Ah, I will need to come up with another petty pastime to wait until the wife gets home from work (yay recovery and physical therapy! I am currently on injury-related leave).

You have got it all wrong, guys.
This sab is on account of today's Dutch elections and the scenes of horrible bloodshed expected afterwards. If the acrimony were to spil over into the Backroom, all TosaInu's systems would overload.

Don't worry - it will be a bit difficult to bump it down when the Backroom is closed ~;)

The horror, the horror of it.....
Oh well, thankful happygiving and a free and fair election to one and all, respectively.... :balloon2:
It ain't pretty.............. :sweatdrop:
At least you are pretty, so when you show up it's relatively even, right?:clown:
Happy elections and a pretty thanksgiving to those who have either.

Didn't confusedius say that :laugh4:Confucius say 'Does not matter how slowly person goes, if only person do not stop.' Same wisdom apply to socialism. :chinese:
With that asthma attack on wheels you call a car I can understand how private property isn't your first concern. Confusius also said that experience is a lightsource you carry on your back which illuminates only the paths one has already walked upon, I say we need nuclair energy because a lightbulb just wouldn't be sufficient for such a monsterfreeway of lessons learned ~;)

Has anyone ever waited till right before one of these closings, posted something really juicy right at the last minute, and made everyone stew for a few days and salivate for the reopening? ~D

Yep several have done just that. If I remember to do it on time today I just might attempt it myself, but since I got to work tonight and the shift is going to be short handed because of vacations - I will most likely miss the window of opporunity for such a task.
That and I have to find a subject for such a task.

I suspected such might be the case. Damnable Dutchmen! Creatures of passion and demagoguery who makes all to suffer. When will God send us a deliverer? When will we be free from this bondage? :ballchain:

Well the Germans tried twice but no one can truly contain the menace. One might say that the real reason behind the wars was to end such madness. Attacking France was no doubt a bonus; all dressed up and no where to go. :gorgeous:

The Dutch have long been known as the source of all wars. The work the "Protocols of Amsterdam" illustrates the cabal at work. The German drive into France was the doings of the Tulip Mafia who confused the Reich's attempts to end the madness by changing road signs. France was just a mistake.
