I have the right to work in the two most economically advanced areas of the planet that everyone wants to get into!

Since I have both a British passport (well Manx, but they are similar) and an American one, I can work in both the EU and the USA. Am I as lucky as I think I am? Just how hard is it for say, a chinese person, to get into either of these areas?

I didnt fully realise this earlier because Im still young, but it suddenly occoured to me as I was in the gym today.

Did you vote in the Tynwald election? :inquisitive:

Stay on Mann...a tropical paradise just off the coast of Liverpool. :laugh4:

Indeed, stay on the Isle of Men...

Why you would want to emigrate to Europe, the UK or the USA is beyond me...

To put it in perspective for you, I am a US citizen, and I would never be able to work legally in the EU.

The election is tommorrrow (thursday). As for tropical paradise - hmmmm.... I dont mind the weather much, but it makes a lot of people moan (and it might just be slightly better than Yorkshire).

Your right, its a good place to be because of the tax haven and all the other benefits, but its a small place, I dont want to spend my entire life here.

Well yes but you really wouldnt want to, right?

Why not?

i suspect it's because he doesn't have any family there, he doesn't have a visa, and its not likely he will recieve a work permit. Or the US gov may want to take his US citizenship if he becomes a EU citizen.
